About
I was born of the sun. Not the soft kind that asks permission, the kind that fills a room before anyone opens a curtain. Light is the first thing I remember and the only thing I have ever really sung about.
Puerto Rico raised me. It gave me my mother's voice, my sisters' fire, and a name people learn to pronounce twice. Everything tender in me is from that island, and so is everything that refuses to bend.
Miami chose me. I came here to find my voice and never looked back. This city is water and neon and heat that does not apologize, and it taught me that light can float.
The crown is not decoration. It is a reminder that I decided to shine on purpose. I turn family scars and midnight dreams into pop songs, and Brilla is only the first one. I do not chase the light. I welcome you into it.
